Onliest: Boy Monochrome Project is a series of photo-derived mixed-media figurative paintings that present a single abstracted moment in the day-to-day lives of strangers. Shot at random from a window three stories above street grade at an unmarked intersection the images capture individuals moving about, taking a moment to rest, and often seeking clarification of their surroundings via maps, notes, or cell phones.

The project owes its genesis from some earlier works sought to capture the impersonal nature of our contemporary relationships using the internet as a signifier.
